Lawyer accompaniment at the TCC and MMC

A lawyer by your side during a TCC visit or MMC examination: preparation, presence, recording violations and subsequent appeals.

Pricefrom $130

A visit to the Territorial Recruitment Centre (TCC/ТЦК) or an examination by the Military Medical Commission (MMC/ВЛК) is a situation in which people are often confused and sign documents without understanding the consequences. A lawyer's presence helps you go through the procedure calmly, submit the necessary documents and record what happened.

Accompaniment starts with preparation: we study your documents, medical opinions and grounds for deferral, and explain what to expect. Then the lawyer takes part in person or stays in contact and, if necessary, appeals decisions. Whether an in-person visit is possible in your city and how the lawyer will access the premises are agreed in advance.

When to seek help

  • You have been summoned to the TCC to update your data or receive a call-up notice
  • You have an MMC referral and chronic illnesses that need to be taken into account
  • You have been brought to the TCC and want to contact a lawyer
  • You plan to submit deferral documents to the TCC in person
  • Conflicts or violations occurred during previous visits to the TCC

What the lawyer does

01

Preparing for the visit

We go through your documents and medical opinions, and explain the procedure, your rights and what you should and should not sign.

02

Lawyer's presence

The lawyer accompanies you to the TCC or MMC in person or stays in contact in real time if an in-person visit is not possible.

03

Submitting documents and applications

We help submit medical records and applications for deferral or for updating your data so that the submission is recorded.

04

Recording violations

If your rights are violated, the lawyer records this in applications, remarks and complaints to provide grounds for a subsequent appeal.

05

Appeals based on the outcome

After the visit we assess the decisions received (an MMC decision, an offence report, a refusal) and, if necessary, prepare a complaint or a claim.

Documents to prepare

  • Passport and military registration document or data from the Reserv+ app
  • Call-up notice or MMC referral
  • Medical records: discharge summaries, examination results, doctors' opinions
  • Documents confirming grounds for deferral
  • Copies of previously submitted applications and replies received

What you get

  • Preparation for the visit with an explanation of the procedure and your rights
  • The lawyer's presence in person or remotely during the visit
  • Recorded evidence of document submission and any violations
  • A plan of further action and, if necessary, a complaint or claim
Timeframes. Preparation usually takes 1–3 days; the length of accompaniment depends on the procedure at the TCC or MMC and may range from a few hours to several days.

Frequently asked questions

Can a lawyer be refused entry to the TCC?

The law guarantees the right to professional legal assistance, but in practice a lawyer's access to certain TCC or MMC premises is restricted. So we agree the format of participation in advance, and if the lawyer is not admitted, we record this and use it as an argument in further complaints.

Can a lawyer be present during the medical examination?

Directly in the doctor's office, as a rule, no: the examination is conducted without third parties present. But the lawyer can help prepare and submit medical records, be nearby before and after the examination, review the MMC decision and appeal it if your diagnoses were not taken into account.

What should I do if I was brought to the TCC without warning?

Stay calm, do not physically resist and tell your relatives or lawyer where you are. Do not sign documents you disagree with without adding written remarks. Mention any medical records and grounds for deferral you have. The lawyer will explain the next steps and, if necessary, appeal the officials' actions.
